Playa de Amadores is on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, just 5 minutes from Puerto Rico and about 20 minutes from Maspalomas. The sheltered bay is known for its calm, crystal-clear turquoise water and golden sand — one of the most photogenic beaches on the island.
Golden hour — approximately 1 hour before sunset — is the most beautiful time to shoot at Amadores. The warm light reflects off the turquoise water and turns the surrounding cliffs golden. Early morning is also ideal for calm water and no crowds.
